Dang, was looking forward to the Cobra......

One of the few army choppers I have not gone for a ride in.

We will be doing a ride event at Alt Motor Speedway Airport in Hampton June 5

The Jeep is strapped down on the trailer, at 45mph MAX and 10 miles to the Gallon, it would take us two hours to Rome, we're ready to roll and be there in 45 mins, hopefully Good Weather, come up and meet our WW2 Vet Johnny Shook, Waist Gunner on a B29 and your's truly just a plain old Grunt from the Mekong, stop by and say hello

Bringing my daughter and her husband along. Be there by 10 and the weather is going to be great today. Maybe the last cool day until fall.

You may be Cool but not as Cool as SSG Johnny Shook WW2 B29 Waist Gunner riding around the Rome Air Show with me. Johnny turns 96 This month. Not many left and us old Nam Jungle Bush Bunnies are right behind them.. Hoo Rah Johnny
