FN P90

That's the thing.. with the legal barrel they are kind of clunky, and the ammo costs are ridiculous.

Very cool guns, but they answer a question that was never actually asked. Unless you can play with the real deal and someone else is paying for you ammo, there's probably better toys out there.
CZ Scorpion with a Franklin binary trigger perhaps?

Ammo is not as ridic as it was years ago. It can be found on sale for 20/box, so comparable to other carry ammo.

I assume by "real deal" you mean a true P90? You definitely want a sponsor if you shoot FA!

Zen_Life Zen_Life you need one!
Setup is really about the sight/optic, and 2 or 3 other options. You pay a premium for an older Gen with the integrated white or black ring sight. New ones have a peep sight and top rail.
Aftermarket there are some barrel shrouds, mag couplers, extended charging grip, sling adapters, and the rest is about sights and mounts. I do like the charging extension and sling.
I would definitely go true PS90 over an AR57.

Yeah man! You got a awesome collection. And i love the caliber expecially from a LEO perspective. What optic would you recommend to run on these?

if you get a new one it will have a rail. I would go RMR or MRO type, probably a real trijicon, and no spacer or riser.

Consider you want this sighted for 25-50yds tops. It will reach further but that is not really where this fits in the arsenal. Quick acquisition is what you are after, thus my choices.
