Thinking the SA-35 sales might suffer a bit.

Might be worth it if it's price competitive with the SA35.
I wouldn't pay double for ambi controls and some front strap stippling.

Different barrel lockup (SIG cam style), a shoehorned in right side disassembly lever, non standard grips, "keyhole" muzzle pattern (whatever that is), minimal (if any) parts interchangeability with the extensive aftermarket, and what appears to be a giant hole in the slide where the recoil spring assembly is.
May kinda look like a Hi Power, but it ain't. FN has never made a bad gun, well maybe the FortyNine,
 
IDK about a red dot.
There ain't a whole lot of material to mill off the top of that slide.

Could work tho.
