Is that a scope, a laser, or a .22 barrel?
That was my thought also.....looks weird....
Old school laser. You've never seen The Terminator? This had to be powered by an external battery pack. Arnold had to hide the wire from the laser up his coat and hold the switch in his other hand.
Can believe it considering when it came out. Takes me back to my course in lasers in 79 at the North Avenue Trade School about avalanche mirror-pumped lasers....but what I'm wondering is how the hell anyone could quickly rack the slide.... Technology has come a long way, baby with LED lasers since then....
My guess is this was strictly for stationary target shooting.
judging by the size of it and, as you say the need for external battery pack, I'd say that laser had a bit more power than current LED lasers of today....
