For 1911 fans only... your favorite flavor?

My original reply was about how weak that design (Terminator pistol) is as mounted on a 1911. The grip bushings are pretty weak and only one attach point, wouldn't last long if "real life" use was intended.

I don't know if I'd call it a "prop." The Terminator's pistol was a real gun with a real laser.
It was just more bulky and awkward to use than they showed in the film.

Here's a Colt Trooper from the 1970s with an early laser, which also required an external battery pack, hence the extra-long grip on this revolver.
