Baddest I ever owned was a 1999 GMC sierra, 6.0 Turbo charged AWD transfer case. I sold it to a guy and texas and he changed a few things and it is running low tens regularly.
My next hot rod will be either a CTS V or vette. Not sure which.

In 1980 I was stationed in Maryland and had a 72 Plymouth Duster. Found an old totaled Road Runner and raped the 383 out of it. The Duster got the 383. Hooker Fenderwell Headers, Edelbrock High Rise Torquer 2 Aluminum Intake, Holly 750 Double Pumper, Crane Comp Cam. Mallory Dual Point Distr, Hurst Quick shift. 10.1 compression, and Posi Rear End. Micky Thompson Wheels, and then had the whole car painted Hemi Orange. Was the baddest car I have ever owned.

nice, my first chevy 4x4 was a 77 scottsdale short box w/ small block 400.

It may be a while but I decided a few years back that my next project would be a square body chevy stepside pickup. I'll probably go 2wd though.

The 400 is a great motor. I've never had one though I did have a 383 stroker back in the 90s.

I forgot how to build a stroker, is it a 350 block and 400 crank or 400 block and 350 crank? lol

Its a 350 with a 400 crank. You have to notch the bottoms of the cylinders the clear the rods, and machine the block to use the external balance of the 400.
