For those that aren’t aware, over 80% of the Winchester 55’s were takedown versions like this one. What you’re seeing in the pic is the back half of the rifle. For the work I was doing, I didn’t need that front half.

I love old lever guns, got several myself, but my oldest is 15 years younger than this one! Mechanically, she’s solid now.
