Classic firearms has GP11 in stock, don't believe it's much of a deal besides being in stock. They have also acquired quite a bit of new milsurp items for sale (I suspect from samco now that they are liquidating their inventory)

The ammo is at a lot of places with better service than Classic . I think someone else besides Classic got some guns . Some of the Samco inventory was in really bad shape . The .308 they have was advertised as corroded with green funk when Samco had it listed for sale. I would be very weary Classic sold a lot of the last batch of M-39's with unadvertised cracked stocks .

I have no allegiance to classic they have done fine by me every time (I have heard about the m39 problems) I just received an email about it in stock....can you share where else you've seen it pop up besides gunbroker I'd like to shop around now that I'm aware there are other sources for surplus swiss ammo
Ammoman and lucky gunner also have the ammo . . I think a couple of others may be getting it . The new batch is 1992 dated
I got to finger fondle one of these years ago. Cool rifles with a very unique action. Would never own one though.
Never said that, I just wouldn't own one. M1 Garands are where my heart lies. Still haven't owned one to this day, but shooting them is fun and they are killer rifles.
Not knocking them at all, just not my cup of tea. Also, i need to get out to Talledega to that range one of these days....
