Mine will be free standing. I cant decide whether to double up on 3/4 plywood like the pic in that link or do 2x8s...or some such size. I've never built one before so there may be changes tonit in the future

Mine is 2 layers of 3/4 plywood top layer is smooth forget what they call it . Been reloading on it with 2 presses for over 30 years. 4x4 legs and 2x6 frame

J-P . Here's the other one. This one is a LMT Forged early receiver made for DSA built on a Steyr STG58 parts kit that I sent the barrel off to Adco to have shortened, crowded and shoulder added.

I know it's forbidden to chop a 21" OG Styer barrel but this guy did. I'm not considered to be a purist to say the least.

Today was a pretty good day. Got to sleep in until 10, posted a giveaway, then went outside and accomplished the fully adjustable rear suspension on one of my toys.

Got Hkparts.net to kick me a RMA for a refund on 2 of the 3 magazines. So that’s 100.00 back

Gonna make Omega refund me 130.00 for the rails whenever/if ever they get in touch

So like 2100.00 total coming back with a small loss on shipping and that one mag I fd up.





I’m going B&T all the way.

Either APC9 with UMP style folding brace

Or

GHM with telescoping tailhook brace

Both will be the same money

You have a post sample to shoot and if the shop ever sells it, you can shoot mine suppressed anytime.

Funny story... I ran mine with the recoil spring and buffer in backwards and it still worked. That's Why I'm blown away that Omega can't get right on theirs. Fatal_Bert can attests that the UMP is so simple that it'll run backwards... Well all except the Omega 9mm you got screwed with .

That really sucks, was holding out hope for that UMP but understand the frustration. Kind of sours the whole thing.

Have you considered a Stribog? I've been really pleased with mine and cheaper then the B&T.
