OK, mag check what are these? And what should I be looking at for in nice quality mags that don't break the bank? The first one runs like a champ, the 2nd one is a bit of a tight fit when doing reloads, almost seems as if that catch on it is just a hair longer?

Only Bakelites are known to fit any AK ever made. They also fit ARs. Not many people know that. That's why they cost $70+ now
The second magazine is Chinese. These are know to be a little snugger and will tighten up a loose magazine well.
Need to post more pics of the first one. Any spline stamps on it. Follower, base plate. spline, etc photos. It does not lot Romanian at this point.
