The dot welds on the spline, the finish, and front lug welds do not look right even for an "unmarked" Sino-Soviet magazine.

I gotcha. I was reading that the ribs are slightly wider and the spine is slightly thicker than the other mags and it checked out. Well dang, I thought I learned something lol. But the follower is Chinese? Just might not be original?

What's the reasoning for a stepped follower? Is there any advantage?
