22 stock I just finished for Remington 512. I did 13 coats of hand rubbed applications. I used steel wool or sanded at 2k grit in between coats. Final sand at 5K grit and hand polished. Hopefully I can get to rust blueing the rifle before to long.

I have used tru oil with great success. Figured it was time to try something different. It is a super smooth finish. I am happy with the results.

I like that Watco Danish walnut oil. Just does an outstanding job on Garands.

The stock was 98% complete. Had to drill a few holes and minor fitting.

I have some in my collection. I used it on a stock 4-5 years ago with good results.

I'm so clumsy, I would put a dent on that beautiful finish the first time I took it out of the safe, if not before.
