The La Verne, California, Police Dept. was called to investigate the break-in and assault on July 8 and were told by the victim that a man she identified as the two-time Super Bowl winner had broken into the house through a locked window and assaulted her when he found her in the home.

Yeah, I'm sure there is not more to the story. Surprised she didn't mention he was wearing his gameday jersey and Superbowl ring.

Something doesn't add up.

OK, so it appears she was his ex-girlfriend. He was just here last weekend.

Browner, who has been arrested multiple times in the past year, was arrested on Sunday roughly 30 miles east of Los Angeles in La Verne. According to the Associated Press, police said that Browner broke into the house of an ex-girlfriend who has a restraining order against him, threatened to kill her, and stole a Rolex watch that is valued at roughly $20,000.
