you can always get a real 1897 and clone it.
they run from 500 to about 750,heck i picked up one at a pawn shop for 350 a few years back.

Great piece or a great project Norinco makes some quality pieces Urban legend clains they and the 911 were built from scrap rail road tracks which is great steel and cant be re used in the US

looking for a norinco made 1897 trench gun clone.
i know its a long shot but the 1897 trench gun is one of my dream guns and seeing how the ones one the market are $7,000 and way up, the norinco clone is the closest i can get.

Yep...and original one is pricey for sure..... years ago, I decided to go Chinese replica and got the base model made by a Zhangzhou, China company imported by IAC, Inc. I added the Numrich heatshield with bayonet lug mount and a synthetic period web sling to it. Turned out pretty nice, IMO. Even being a knock-off, one of my most favored shotguns.....
