Foundation issues

Does anyone on here do foundation work? I have an issue with settling and there is some sway in the support beams of the house. There needs to be some raising and shimming or new support posts made, if that helps out.

All the big companies charge a lot, neighbors paid around and they cracked her sheetrock etc.

Get lots of quotes.

I just had aquaguard stabilize and raise my front porch slab. They were $9500 cheaper than anyone else and the quality of their work was spot on and the guys doing the work were top of the line.

They either went to fast or it was built with the sagg in it. Settlement will crack it on the way down.

I'm living in it now. It has metal posts about every 6 to 8 ft, but it needs to be raised about an inch or so across 20+ ft. Looks like I'll be getting another 20 ton bottle jack and some I-beams.

It's taken 40 yrs to get noticeable in the floor upstairs. I'm hoping that the one section where the rooms come together is the main culprit. Hopefully 2 jacks and some shims will help it.
