Free transfer

I was at Cherokee Gun and Pawn in Canton the other day an asked them what they charge to transfer a firearm when your buy off the web. The answer: $0.00. - Just wanted to let everybody know.

Did my first there a few weeks ago. Great folks!

How do you send the seller a copy of Cherokee's FFL, you email a PDF of Cherokee's license ? Or do you call (or stop in) Cherokee and they email it, or does Cherokee only allow through EZ check ? I'm mainly asking about how to get sellers who are non-FFL holders on GunBroker the copy of Cherokee's FFL.

Cherokee emailed me a copy of their FFL and I emailed that to the seller.
I sent an email to Cherokee to get the copy.

Ok, that's easy as pie then !! I did 1 transfer through X3 firearms in Loganville and they do not send out any copies of their FFL license, either in paper or pdf format. They tell the seller to check them out on EZ Check, and mail firearm to that address listed online. I was on pins and needles the whole time.

cherokeegun@comcast.net is what I used to contact them.

TruPrep in Marietta does this as well. Love Cherokee but living on the south side prevents me from getting up there much.
