This is not a price rant. This is for informational purposes only. I have been guilty of over pricing Glocks myself, but justified it by the "market". While I don't know how the GSSF program works; I THINK the pricing is the same as LEO pricing. Someone correct me if I am wrong, please. Point being; there is not a Glock listed worth $500+ w/ just the factory accessories. A blue box Glock comes w/ 3 magazines, so that extra magazine that you are "throwing in" isn't worth the extra $100 you are trying to get. Before buying a Glock off of the ODT please review the below link for pricing and check into the GSSF program to see if it is worth your time and money. Granted not everyone is going to drive to Stockbridge, but maybe other FFL honor the program.

Cool price list. I think sometimes the glock are over priced on here. $500 for a glock that was said to be in a safe for 3 years still isn't brand new. If there is nothing extra with the gun then why the high price? Smh.

Why? Because just like ammo; people will pay it... It is great if you are selling, but sucks when you are in the market for one. I guess I have been lucky, because I have never paid over $400 for a used Glock.

This again.

Do you worry when people over pay for cars on Craigslist? I just can't wrap my head around the concern for other peoples money. That's what Clark Howard is for.

Guy sees a mint Pontiac Bonneville just as he wants one. Platform, color, engine, power options. Someone is asking 15% more for it. Buyer has cash and buys.
Who calls him and asks why he paid too much.

Worry yourself with yourself. See a Glock overpriced, quickly decide it's not for you.

Have we seen this thread before? Haha

Is that the answer? Not defend a topic when questioned? Use someone else's quote in place of reasonable replies? Interesting plan.

Not picking a fight, just never quite understand why it matters about others peoples money unless you are Democrat (then they don't want you spending money they have other plans for).

A lnib G34, 17L or 35 are certainly worth more than $500.

What's with this price obsession anyway? If you pay a few bucks to much big deal. Is $50 really going to sink anyone that's looking to buy a pistol? If you're happy with what you paid, then so be it.

There isn't anything to defend. Like every other member of ODT, I can post a topic that I find interesting. I don't feel a need to argue or defend my position. Some members, especially the newer ones, may not know about the GSSF program. Is is so wrong to attempt to educate and inform? What I don't understand is the need of others to dogpile on a member that post something/anything. You say to worry about myself; couldn't you do the same? My post has no effect on your life. It does not stop you from buying, selling or trading for whatever you see fit. So, why bother commenting?

If someone is willing to pay $650 or $700 for my LNIB glock, then it is sold! Then I will drive to my LGS and buy a new one for $500 all day long. What someone else pays for their stuff is their problem not mine. Anyone need a G23???

My G34 was $700 out the door with tax and the background check (had an error on my carry permit). I guess I should start wringing my hands over my terrible mistake.
