Friends don't let friends overpay for Glocks...

This is not a price rant. This is for informational purposes only. I have been guilty of over pricing Glocks myself, but justified it by the "market". While I don't know how the GSSF program works; I THINK the pricing is the same as LEO pricing. Someone correct me if I am wrong, please. Point being; there is not a Glock listed worth $500+ w/ just the factory accessories. A blue box Glock comes w/ 3 magazines, so that extra magazine that you are "throwing in" isn't worth the extra $100 you are trying to get. Before buying a Glock off of the ODT please review the below link for pricing and check into the GSSF program to see if it is worth your time and money. Granted not everyone is going to drive to Stockbridge, but maybe other FFL honor the program.

Good post... but some like paying more than retail and some are offended when they find out they paid much more than necessary. There are plenty of good deals here and everything is supply and demand.... there was a time you couldn't find a Gen 4 G19 and if you did, it was bringing $650 or more.....

GSSF will send you a coupon for a Glock at LE pricing when you join and pay for a multi year membership and will continue to send you a coupon once a year if you ask for it... I joined over 10 years ago and enjoy shooting at the events and consider the coupon a bonus.... Only LE stocking dealers honor the GSSF pricing..... I use Dana Safety Supply when I use a GSSF coupon..... If you want a NEW GLOCK and don't mind the wait, GSSF can save you some $$$... if you are looking for instant gratification, shop right here because there are many good deals here too....

(You must have a coupon for the reduced pricing, just being a GSSF member doesn't get you LE pricing)

once you buy it from LGS and try to resale it's not new. just like driving of the lot with a new vehicle it becomes used. you can have a rollback pick up the vehicle so no miles it's used now. buy a gun never shoot it sell it I'm still am not the original owner. it's second hand to me, my 2¢

Good point. The terminology should really be "fired" vs. "unfired". So you did or did not want to buy my "unfired" G19?! :D

or a cowboy
or I want to be shot first!

I know right? I'm sorry that Captain Winky still needs a booster seat at you and the little lady's table of love, but you can't make up for that by straping a pistol on your hip and walking around like James Yeager.

At what point was there discussion about open carry? It's possible I missed it in the 12 pages thus far.

Look man, just because you conceal carry and are afraid to let people know you have a gun, don't get all preachy at me 'cause I wanna flash my piece at the WaHo on a Saturday night.
