Friends don't let friends overpay for Glocks...

This again.

Do you worry when people over pay for cars on Craigslist? I just can't wrap my head around the concern for other peoples money. That's what Clark Howard is for.

Guy sees a mint Pontiac Bonneville just as he wants one. Platform, color, engine, power options. Someone is asking 15% more for it. Buyer has cash and buys.
Who calls him and asks why he paid too much.

Worry yourself with yourself. See a Glock overpriced, quickly decide it's not for you.

Have we seen this thread before? Haha
Yep! :thumb::thumb:

$700 for a new glock seems to cheap. Living in Europe for a year kind of changed my perspective on price.

Take a peek. From my local gunshop in Germany. Prices in Euros. The Glock runs $916 plus tax.

A lnib G34, 17L or 35 are certainly worth more than $500.

What's with this price obsession anyway? If you pay a few bucks to much big deal. Is $50 really going to sink anyone that's looking to buy a pistol? If you're happy with what you paid, then so be it.
Spoken like a free-market capitalist.

It seems that " fair market value" is what someone is willing to pay. Not what a book/guide/ or some butt hurt individual says. :)

Let he who has not sold a Glock for more than "fair market value" cast the first magazine.

I have only sold one Glock on here and that was a 23 Gen 3 a couple weeks ago. Sold it for $425. It was like new and I didn't really want to sell it but I wanted something else more than the Glock. The guy got a good deal and we were both happy. I can find Gen 3 Glock 23's for around the same price whenever I decide to snag another one. I don't think it was more than fair market value, but I have no idea what fair market value is.
