So...what should I ask for a LNIB 29 with 2 clips ...gen 2 I think? Just curious what y'all think, if I decide to sell it.

G30 example:
GSSF Pricing $491.00
GSSF membership (1 pistol coupon per year) $35
Tax $35
Night Sites $60 + time at Glock to get them installed
Total OTD $620

So where's this big gap in the average priced Glock?
Yes, I'd say there is the occasional "Rare" outlier but typically I'd say prices are not higher than what you would have into one buying new.

So, my question becomes; what is the depreciation value of a firearm? I have bought and traded and sold quite a bit on this forum. I've won some and lost most (in terms of value).
But, what does one rate the depreciation of a firearm considering once it has been "registered" it technically is no longer BNIB and once it has been fired it can at most be considered LNIB? 10%, 20%. Honest question because I don't know how to set a value on something when they are selling used for the same price as new.

Most used handguns aren't shot a hell of a lot, and considering the lifespan of new guns with high-tech metals and coatings it's no wonder people are willing to pay almost new prices for a used gun. There isn't a formula, it depends on the gun, and frankly the local demand and preference. In the Midwest, HK and The Springfield XD were hotter than Glocks. Why? I dunno, people just loved them and shot them well. With Glock here in Smyrna, that probably has something to do with Glocks increased loyalty.

Why are so many americans Christian and Indians Hindu. Depends on where you live and what's popular.

I think the OP has a flaw in his argument. I do belong to GSSF and I get one coupon per year. I could buy a G17 or G19 for $425 plus tax, so I'd be in at just over $450. I happened to use my coupon this year (first time I had a coupon btw), and I got a 30s for $491, plus tax. I was over $500 with the coupon. Miltary/LEO can buy them at that price too, but to my understanding, it's limited to one or two a year. The fact that no new Glock is worth $500 is not true. You'd be assuming every new Glock was bought using a discount, or that everyone bought from the cheapest retailer possible. Everyone loves PSA (as do I), but check their prices on Glock. Most of them are $550 or more. I'm all for finding the best deal, but you can't look at every listing assuming the guy is trying to screw you and paid the least amount possible for the item.

Shameless plug, I like it! I'd be interested to see what people think about this. Those can go for $600 plus tax I think? So $80 off seems reasonable.

Someone made a good point about pistols in general. They're all designed to last more rounds that anyone would probably fire in a lifetime. If you shoot out a Glock barrel, they're probably $100 to replace with a match grade (i.e. better) one. A good analogy would be buying a "used" car with 500 miles on it and scoffing because someone is only taking a few grand off the price.
