FRT......decent or gimmicky BS?

Anybody with practical experience? I was thinking about picking one up just as a fun range toy. I'd never contemplate something like that for any serious purpose but purely as a mad minute type gadget, is it worth the price of admission?

No. I played with a buddies. It runs quick but peters out after 200 ish rounds, as in it breaks and that's it.

But I'll add this. For a range toy and you know they break quick and are willing to spend the money, go for it. Shooting quickly is fun for about as long as that trigger would hold up.

Just invest in a transferable. Better in the long run.

Good thing I've got three of them.
But to my knowledge the new ones don't have the problems of the original (breaking) if I'm not mistaken.

Yep, seems after further research there is an arm designed to prevent bolt follow fire which uses a small spring to return it to it's normal position. Seems that spring is prone to breaking prematurely. What do ya know about them?

If you want it for a range toy, can’t see a problem with that. I wouldn’t recommend it for a trigger that is going to be used in a self-defense arm.

No way would I put gimmicky BS like that in a defense gun, purely a range toy.
