Item Description: I am listing this truck for a friend & neighbor who doesn't have Internet skills. Just got back from taking the images at his place.
1991 Ford F-150 XLT Lariat 4x4
187K miles
351 fuel injected engine
Recent work:
New Cam lifters
New timing chain and cover
New water pump
New fuel pumps
New fuel/air sensors
New battery and solenoid
A/C retrofit to 134A
New tires
Above work was done by an experienced local mechanic (same garage I use and trust for my vehicles). Everything works correctly.
Exterior has surface rust. Paint is faded. Driver rear quarter panel has a small dent (pictured). Has bedliner that is in good shape.
Interior is very good. Needs a new headliner, but otherwise, original dash, carpet, floor, switch gear, are about as good as you will see on a truck of this vintage.
Would make a great daily driver, work truck, or an excellent candidate for restoration. My opinion: A good paint job and a headliner will make this a very desirable restored truck. Tempted to do it myself, but I have too many projects going already.
