Item has been relisted, you can find the new listing at: https://www.theoutdoorstrader.com/threads/fs-2009-mazda3-hatchback.2124915/
Item Name: FS 2009 Mazda3 hatchback
Location: Acworth
Zip Code: 30101
Item is for: Sale Only
Sale Price: $6,000
Willing to Ship: No
Bill of Sale Required?: Yes
Item Description: 113,XXX miles (I drive this regularly, so that will increase)
2.3L 4-cylinder engine. Engine has a timing chain, not a timing belt. If you know engines, you know this is a good thing.
- Nonsmoker car
- Automatic transmission
- Cruise control
- 4-wheel disc brakes
- A/C blows cold and heat blows hot
- AM/FM radio with CD player
- Weathertech front floor mats
- Achilles 2233 205/50/17 tires with good tread
- Current emission inspection. Clear title is in my name
- Does not burn or leak any fluids (including oil or transmission fluid)
Routine/preventative maintenance recently done:
-Engine oil and filter replaced
-Transmission fluid and transmission filter replaced
-Spark plugs replaced
-Cabin air filters replaced (a 2 hour job)
-Brake pads replaced
-Struts replaced
-Serpentine belt and tensioner replaced
-Haynes shop manual included
Engine runs great and everything works fine, with the following exceptions:
1) Driver side rear window regulator needs to be replaced (about $40 and relatively easy to replace), as that window cannot currently be lowered.
2) Tire pressure warning light is on. Missing one remote tire pressure sensor (replaced with a regular valve stem, by previous owner). I will even through in a small piece of black tape to cover that annoying light.
Selling this to get a Miata with a manual transmission. Anyone who knows Mazda 3's know that they handle like a sports car - very tight and precise, with imperceptible body roll in turns. It is quick (sub-8 second 0-60), nimble, and corners like nobody's business. I love this car, but I like convertibles and I like clutches and shifting gears (even though you can manually shift this car).
More pictures available upon request. Clean Carfax report, which I can furnish. It was involved in a very minor accident years ago, which required no repairs. The only evidence of that is a small scratch on the front bumper.
The only trade I will consider is a Miata with a manual transmission, less than 120,000 miles on it, and no cash added from me.
