Item Description: 2011 Colt Gold Cup Trophy. All stainless with factory wraparound grips and 100th Anniversary Colt medallion. All original including factory 7rd and 8rd magazines, additional "light" green recoil spring, barrel bushing wrench and Allen key for adjustable three-hole trigger. Adjustable Colt rear sight. I bought this gun brand new back in early 2012 and have taken great care of it. No bill of sale required but need to take a look at GA CCL.

He's saying it's a 2011 year of manufacture. Thus the 100 year medallions.

He means 2011 was the year of manufacturing. As shown by the 100 on the grips. Some 1911's have the "100 yr of service" on the slide as well.

definitely not a 2011 100th model its another year with anniversary grips added a true 100th anniversary made in 2011 would have the 100th grips and have 100 years of service stamped on the right side of the slide but either way very nice and clean pistol and a very good price for a gold cup

Although it does not have “100 years of service mark” it has the original grips with 100 medallion. Never changed them.

I'm not so sure the GCNM or GC trophy's had the "100 year service" roll mark. I'm kind of thinking only the "lesser grade" pistols had the 100 year...
