Item Description: Chevy 350 CI Engine Bored .30 Over and stuffed full of Chevy or American built performance parts. This engine was built by a retired mechanic who ran his own shop with four to five mechanics working for him at a time when a family bought a new car and might keep it for 15-20 years and if it started smoking or using oil their trusty family mechanic freshen up the engine as needed and didn’t order a $6000.00 to $8,000.00 crate engine. In this case he built this engine to go in his beautiful show car. It is an early 70’S
Block with Angle Plug Heads, and a mild Comp Cams Kit, everything was replaced new and balanced and some porting
Done. It comes with over $1,500.00 in accessories ie. All front brackets included along with a new polished GM AC Compressor, A High Amp one wire Alternator, a High Tirque mini starter, chrome short tube headers, Edelbrock Aluminuum Intake with an electric Choke carburetor. While the engine was out he sent the transmission to a professional builder and had the 700R Completly built and beefed up to handle up to 1,000 HP.
Both the Engine and transmission were installed and had almost exactly 2,300 miles put on them and then pulled and an LS engine and transmission installed but I was able to crank the engine on a bitter cold morning last winter and watched the oil pressure jump to 60 lbs cold and it still will but better yet it held 50 lbs after warm sitting in drive and holding the brake,
