In 30-6, I believe based on the serial it’s from early to mid 1950.

Kicks like a mule but is surprisingly accurate.

Holds 4 in the floor

It’s seen some use in its day for sure. Been beat a bit but it’s solid and 100% intact and in working order.

Im not sure what to do with it, part of me wants to tap it for a scope and see what shell do..but at the same time it’s not bubba’d.

Any advice on which direction to go? Just been sitting in there, I have shot it recently, does exactly as asked. What I like about the action is you can flip the safety selector to the 12 o’clock position and unload the floor plate without locking the bolt each time.

Id be interested to sell if anyone is looking for something like it.

From what I've found it seems that rechambering them to 30-06 was pretty common. But bore diameter is slightly oversize for the 30-06 bullet.

I used to have one. This is a good deal even if the stock has been revarnished. Question: Was this rechambered for what it's showing as 30_06? Mine shot 7.65X53 Argentine ammo.
Yes these were originally “7.65 Argentine”. When they were sent around the world for different armies/govs, they were rechambered in a more favorable or more available caliber like 7mm and 30-6. It’s common with the term “sporterized”
