Item Description: Bear Creek Arsenal's "BearClaw" 16" Heavy Barrel, w/ 1:8 Twist, .223 Wydle, Stainless Steel with Melonite Finish, Spiral Flutes
This barrel is made from 416 Stainless steel, heat treated to RC 28-32 hardness and stress relieved, given a melonite finish, and then spiral fluted. Bear Creek Arsenal (BCA) then drills, reams, turns, and flutes the barrels on CNC machines for precision manufacturing that meets ISO-9002 Quality System Standards. The barrels are then inspected for quality control including CMMS and Air Gauges for the bores.
BCA's customers include individuals as well as Gun Manufacturers & Dealers. BCA's expectation is that any barrel 16 inches or longer will hold a 1.000" MOA at 100 yards with appropriate ammo and shooting techniques.
