Item Description: This is a Dutch Beaumont Vitali rifle that was cut down by Bubba quite some time ago. This example was manufactured in 1878, and I began to turn it into a pseudo-carbine. I mated a busted up Martini Henry forestock to the original cut down Beaumont stock, and it took a lot of sanding and shaping just to get it where it is now. I found a beat up Mauser 71/84 bayo lug/front barrel band that I thought would work, but it didnt..it is included in case you can make it work. No buttplate..needs one worked to fit.
I have a major illustration job coming up, so I will not have time to finish this. If you enjoy a good project, here it is. Thanks for looking.
