Item Description: From my personal collection, the first nickel S&W I purchased after a very long search several years ago. This was sold to me by a collector that claimed it was unfired except at the factory. From the condition I believe him and I have never even put a bullet in it. I know it's not the earlier model lower dash number everyone searches for but I believe this one in this condition with the case, key and docs was a nice find so I had to have it!
This is a gorgeous COMBAT 19-5 Nickel 357/38 that looks as if it is brand new with beautiful S&W checkered wood grips, the 4" barrel in a beautiful engraved Smith and Wesson wood presentation case with lock and key. The original docs are in the box and like new. I cannot find a mark on this gun and have babied this as one of my "Pride and Joys" since purchased. I can't even bring myself to cut off the plastic tag holder from the trigger guard all these years. It stays in a climate controlled environment with dehumidifier constantly running. I can go on and on but I hope the pictures speak for themselves. I'm sure I will regret this someday if it sells.
