Item Description: Selling an upgraded Rock Island Armory 9mm 1911.
Pistol has a clean breaking trigger job (2.5lbs).
Upgrades include:
EGW full length guide rod ($35)
EGW Guide rod plug SS ($18)
10lb guide rod spring (IMSI) ($10)
SVI Infinity Aluminum Grip safety, non-functioning (ie non pivoting) ($70)
Dawson Precision ICE IPSC Compliant Magwell with Curved AL Mainspring housing ($70)
Ed Brown Extended Mag Release ($21)
VZ Grips (NEW) ($65) with new Ed Brown SS Grip screws and thin Bushings ($20)
Ed Brown Stainless Barrel Bushing ($22)
Applied Grip tape to front of slide and to front strap.
This gun was my back-up to my custom build single stack. I used the tungsten and lightening up the grip area to resemble my main gain. Very reliable and could easily be a main USPSA/IPSC Single Stack runner or just a great all around recreational shooter.
To replace this pistol would be:
$580 RI 9mm base
$150 labor for trigger job
$331 in upgrade parts
= $1061.
