Item Description: As one guitar enters the mancave, one (or two) must leave, otherwise I can't move around. I bought this guitar new 4 years ago, played it 5 minutes, put it back in the case and closet (climate controlled), and rarely touched it since then. It most likely has less than ten minutes playing time on it. It's never been outside the house and never been gigged. There's nothing wrong with it, and as you can tell from the photos, it looks like it just came from the factory; protective plastic is still on the pickguard. I just have too many guitars and see no point in keeping something I'm not playing. I'm not sure of the exact date of manufacture; I purchased this new in 2013 and Fender discontinued them in late 2012, so I'm guessing it's a 2012 (the serial number sites haven't been helpful); regardless, I can't give you an exact date. There's a coil split on this thing, so you can get passable single coil tones from the humbucker (although you won't confuse it with a real Strat single-coil). If you're not familiar with Fender Japan, it's basically on par or better than Fender America, much better than Fender Mexico.

So here's what I'm offering for your late Christmas or early Valentine's Day.

1) Fender Japan MIJ '51 Pawn Shop Stratocaster, serial # T011901
2) Hardshell Fender non-original locking case (with key). Fender part# 0996105300.

I'm not interested in trades at this time, and I don't want to sell anything individually. All proceeds of this sale go towards cleaning my closet, so you can feel good about your purchase.
