Item Description: Selling my 1974 MG MGB. It's got a Ford Mustang 2.3 engine and 5-speed trans swapped into it. *sorry for the clickbait, I know you wanted to see a 5.0
* The swap has about 50 miles on it and the car is close to being 100% complete.
Things that need done - 1 carb tuning, it runs OK now but I'm not a carb guy and jetted it how I read on forums but it'll get much better power with a proper tune. It really feels like its running lean. 2 the hardtop is in pretty good shape but needs the seals and the quarter windows are very hazed. The softtop is also included and the hardware is perfect but the leather is not good. 3 interior cleaning/finished, its actually pretty good but needs finishing touches like the new radio wired in and speakers. 4 LIGHT bodywork, the car is pretty rust free with 0 rot. The outer door skins need replaced due to being cracked at the mirror mount and the rear driver quarter needs some minor work. 5 tires! They hold air but are old
Pros! 5 speed swap , hard top, rust free, great seats, mostly straight body. It starts/stops/runs/drives and sounds great! Before being swapped the car received new headgasket and reworked valves. Brand new billet mechanical distributor. GPS Speedometer. This car is mine and registered to me, this is not some quick flip but an actual project I put a fair amount of work blood sweat an swearing into.
PREFER to sell, cash talks and people without a car would walk. Could entertain a partial trade but prefer to sell. I would seriously consider a trade that involves a PSL or SVT-40 with ammo or rifle plus cash... Maybe a straight trade for a $4000+ package or rifle.
