Item Description: i have a 1997 cougar 30th anniversary. runs good. have mustang cobra brake/lug pattern swap so it uses mustang bolt pattern wheels now. 126k miles. it will go up because this is my daily as of now. have 2.5” exhaust from manifolds back. can include factory exhaust if desired. no cats or o2 sensors in big exhaust because i havent got around to it yet. runs and drives good. ac has a leak. i filled the system and it did work for a couple days but the freon leaked out and it quit working again. can also include lowering springs for full asking price. will look at trade for a good large displacement cruiser or 1000cc sport bike or a honda cr500. will also trade for good 4x4 atv or gas powered golf cart. first picture is current setup.

new ones. the lug pattern has been swapped to a mustang pattern when i did the big brake setup so the old ones no longer fit. its a v8

Nice, should be a pretty fun car with a set of 3.73 or 4.10 gear's installed. Those older 4.6L engines really work well with the steeper gears.

yes they do. i have an old thunderbird super coupe with better gears and trac lock i was going to swap the diff out with but i bought one of my dream cars so this has to go. too many in the driveway right now.

Free Ford bump... Nothing wrong with a Ford 4.6 - good power, plenty of parts available and they like to rev!

The T-Bird and Cougars are on Ford's larger MN12 "upscale" platform with IRS. While the SN95 Mustangs were a further development of the Fox platform - seems as though they called it "Gen 3".

yes. it has the same rear end as the 98-02 mustang cobra. the 03-04 cobra upgraded to 31spline carriers. when i did the big brakes it has rotors and calipers on the front from a 98 cobra and rear rotors from a 98 cobra. i kept the facotry rear calipers to maintain the parking brake
