Item Description: I have a 38U Rack that can be used for Networking, Audio/Visual, or HAM radio equipment. I used it for networking and to house some home-built servers that I used to have. The posts fit standard 19" mounting equipment. The posts are drilled and tapped for screws for mounting equipment. I have a few screws in it. It comes with a 16-outlet power strip mounted in the rear. The front door is black smoked glass (actually probably acrylic). The rear door is vented metal. It also has three cooling fans in the top. Dimensions are 76"H x 29"W x 29"D. I'm throwing in the following items:
one shelf
one Belkin OmniView Pro 8-port KVM (PS/2 and serial, no USB)
one Cisco 1800 series 24-port 10MB switch
one Cisco 2500 series router
NOTE: This rack is probably not deep enough for most of today's commercially available servers. However, you can still buy server cases that do fit it if you want to build your own servers.
