Shipped from the factory in July 1940 this scarce Model of 1905 4th Change .38 M&P is equipped with a 5” barrel, factory refinished blue finish dated December 1942(Determined by the stamp under the grips), and checkered walnut with silver medallion service grips. A fine M&P that remains in fantastic condition from end to end. The bore and cylinder chambers are mint and the mechanical working order is flawless. The only mark on it is on the left side right below the cylinder. The grips number to the revolver
Please notice the refinish stamp by the serial this was refinished only two years after it left the factory. I am not sure why but it is has been very well cared for ever since.
