I have for sale a Beretta 92F with box and x2 PB Beretta Italy factory magazines. Before Beretta’s serial number search was taken down, their website had this one listed as a 1988-1989. The 92F is special because it was the model entered into the US Armed Forces handguns trials to replace the M1911. After the locking block fiasco (from mostly improper ammunition) the design of the locking block was changed slightly, along with the slide slightly, and the model 92FS was born.
I have a “movie gun” collection, and searched out this clean 92F, because it was the exact model Bruce Willis used as John McClane in the Die Hard movie when I was a kid. He didn’t use an FS model, but an F model. Selling because I found something else for my collection that is more special to me.
