Yes it is a big screen projection TV, but it is much different than most. I bought new for $1,300 a while back. It is HD 1080 and has the proper ratio same as flat screen TVs now. Includes several inputs front and back and has at least one hdmi plug. It looks like a flat screen tv on a stand and has tons of features. Panasonic 53" inch I think, but looks much bigger. Has picture in picture so you can watch football/hunting/fishing while wife watches wheel of fortune in bottom corner :-)
Works great, wife told me it has to go grr.....
Will help you stick in the back of a truck. It rolls so pretty easy to move around.
