These pistols are called Woodsmans but they didn’t always have that name. “The Woodsman” was first stamped on the side of the frame in 1927

Excellent example and good price. Here's mine just for fun (not for sale). The original two-tone magazine would add $250 to $300 to the price. They function like a Swiss watch.

Thats what I was thinking. So is 1919 a correct date of manufacture? My 1919 is not marked WOODSMAN...

Geezer, I think you are correct, If this ones serial number is between 90000-187423, and has a 6 5/8 inch barrel, with straight taper it was made from1934-1947...
