Encore 36" walk behind mower. 14hp Kawasaki engine (FC420V), 5 speed transmission w/ reverse, belt drive. Nearly always cranks on first or second pull. Zero turn, adjustable deck height, two blade deck.
The good: -I've reconditioned much of the mower, so it looks nice.
-Engine is strong, always cranks easy
-Spindles are good
-New drive belts
-New throttle cable
-Looks great
-Cuts and stripes great
The bad: -Needs muffler (runs fine but original muffler is rusted out)
-Tires need tubes or need air every few days (I may get this done if I still have it in a few days)
-Mower only has one drive belt on the left side rather than two due to worn pully. I just got a new pulley but have not put it on yet. Does not effect how it pulls or turns whatsoever, although I would not use a sulkey with it
Bottom line, this has been a great mower that I've been using at my home (cut my yard with it this past Sunday). I have a half acre and cut my front and back yard in about 20 minutes. Huge time saver and great looking cut. Would be great for a homeowner or commercial operator. It's an older Encore, but I've redone most everything recently and just don't need it with my small yard.
