The word is "tenifer", not tinifer. And it isn't an applied "finish", it's hardening, heat treatment. And, that isn't a tenifer-treated slide. Not only is that plainly apparant in the photos, it's widely known that Glock stopped using tenifer several years before this pistol was ever made.

I think the odt guy that goes by jk has one like mine also. look at his and we may can learn something about these guns.not saying i know everything i would like to know if im wrong or not.

The tenifer-treated slide is on bottom, which is blacker and rougher than the newer, thinner, more grey-ish finish (like is on the OP's pistol, as well as countless other pistols incorrectly advertised here as having the "tenifer/frying pan finish").

These pics of your pistol show the newer, slicker, grey-ish finish, on both slide and barrel. These pics are clear and close enough to see that this finish is not nearly as rough or dark as the actual tenifer treated slides. Also, this pistol has the new 7-character serial number, which were built welll after Glock stopped using tenifer. Do you have any gen3 pistols with a 6-character serial number, starting with "P" or lower? I'm betting all your pistols are actually post-tenifer, and that's why they all look the same.
edit: this recently sold pistol is a tenifer-era, N-serial number Glock.
