Item Description: German Gew 88 Commission Rifle. Very cool old rifle! This rifle has some of the most beautiful walnut I’ve ever seen! The pics do not do it justice. Gun is still in the grease, but I ran a patch down the barrel which is in great shape, shiny rifling. Gun has the S stamp on the receiver so at one time was approved for the later ammo.
