1991 Volvo 240 · Sedan · Driven 270,812 miles
91 Auto 240 Sedan, +T using an 88 760 turbo, manifold and IC. ECU’s, MAF and injectors from a 940 SE. Lifted 3 inches front and rear using the bad decision works lift kit, have new overload springs for the rear as the originals are tired, also have the weld in torque arm and panhard bar adjuster kit from BDW to be included in the sale.
Cons: Paint sucks, and it has some body damage from PO’s as well as the fender wells were cut for the tires.
Main issue is that it blew a hose I think one of the heater under/in the intake and severely overheated. Car still runs but I confirmed the head gasket is blown on the coolant side, pressurized the cooling system once filled again. I was planning to go with an LS swap and started gathering parts before running out of inspiration. The Giffin performance LS mounts are to be included.
Pros: Full BDW lift with barely any miles, new front and rear shocks/struts, new front springs, new wheel spacers from BDW in the back with a set for the front. All the hard work to lift it is done, repair the engine or replace it and it’s ready. Sits on 237/75/15 BFG’s but they should be replaced but they hold air.
