Item Description: Up for trade is one of the top trench guns if all time. (Yes I'm aware that it hasn't been converted to an actual trench gun yet)This model was manufactured in 1929 with a 28" barrel I believe. Wood is in excellent condition, absolutely no rust at all. Metal has started to lose its color in places as you can see in the pics. Weapon functions flawlessly with no problems. This is you chance to own one of the most highly sought after shotguns of all time. Looking to trade for a higher end AK( no wasr), a high end AR, WW2 weapons etc... if you have something you think may interest me, shoot me an offer.

Does this have the bursting bomb and US stamp?
No to my knowledge, those marking were only put on the ones that were issued to the military. If you find one with those markings, youre gonna pay quite a bit for it. This one you could easily convert in to a trench gun if you so chose. The riot barrels are relatively easy to find.

Yeah I was looking for a real one. How much for the 20" barrel and shroud/ bayonet lug you think?
 
Theres a guy located in maryland that sells the original riot barrels for 150.00. As for the heat shield and bayonet lug, i can only imagine a bit more. Looking at ones that are on gunbroker that have the original markings and such, youre looking at around 3k and up
 
That looks like a take down one, not sure what would be involved with a barrel swap.
 
I have a 1918 model 97 riot from ww1 that needs a few parts to be complete the right extractor and stuff I have been restoring wish I had the cash for this .if someone wanted to make a trench gun they could get this and what I have listed and make a really nice one
 
Most if then didn't get the arsenal makings only when they where refinished . I don't know alot about them but I have spoken to bruce canfield to learn what I do know .
