Item Description:
This was going to be a project of sorts for hog hunting, but I don’t have the time to pursue it and am offering it up to someone who may want to make this their own. This requires someone who knows how to assemble an AR but with some appreciation for the additional steps for the ambi controls (I.e., more roll pins). If you can secure a lower receiver and use a pin punch, you can assemble this.
Cerakoted white LWRC Six8 SPR by Mod Outfitters in TX.
The upper was converted (by LWRC) to an A2 quad rail (my preference), but it is the midlength self-regulating piston gas system.
The white cerakote needed base layers so the fitting is tight, especially at contact points which you can see when disassembled but not when the rifle is complete. The rifle is 100% functional. The only rounds fired through it are by LWRC to confirm function after the 14.7 pin/weld and from initial test firing at the factory.
Price reflects the current disassembled status of the rifle, LWRC A2 value and estimated labor if you have someone else reassemble the lower.
I was going to have the white blasted off and a darker color applied. I was quoted $200 by a local cerakote applicator (certified Cerakote applicator) so I adjusted price down to reflect this in case the white doesn’t do it for you. Lower has mark near bolt catch from removal, but does not hit actual metal and once re-coated, will be as clean as the day it was forged. Again price reflects this (pic upon request).
