Item Description: Inherited this years ago and it has been packed away for ever.
Rifling is fair and barrels have some minor pitting that you might expect on a black powder gun this old. Hard rubber grips show some wear but the nickel plating is in excellent condition. Hinge is perfect but extractor is stuck and I don't want to force it. Action cycles perfectly.
Manufactured between 1888 and 1911 I believe it could be fired if the extractor was repaired. This derringer is beautiful compared to many for sale on line (Guns international or Armslist) that have an asking price double this.
I don't have to get rid of it. I thought of making a framed wall hanger out of it but decided I would see if a collector out there might like to give it a good home first.
