Item Description: Savage 116 Matt Stainless .338 Win Mag with black synthetic stock and blind box magazine. This is a 1990's model before Savage made the AccuTrigger or AccuStock systems. Don't let that concern you because this has a clean and crisp trigger. Overall the rifle is in very good condition.

Has a fluted 22 inch barrel with muzzle brake. If you have never shot a .338 Win Mag you are in for a very pleasant surprise. Recoil is not bad and the accuracy is amazing.

Comes without scope or rings. I left the Leupold one piece base in place.

I'd be happy to drive and meet half way if needed.

If you are the shooter, it is not bad. From the side it can be a little louder than a rifle without a muzzle brake.
