Item Description: I designed and built this mount, it will work with a standard AR15 (rifle, carbine, or pistol). Built from oak. It locks up using padlock of your choice. You've got a few options... In a closet behind some clothes, wood-etched by wood burning artist and displayed on wall (my favorite idea), installed on side of night stand, etc. It's got some predrilled holes for mounting concealed on the inside.
Think of this as the security level of a locking cabinet.
