Up for sale is my Official USMC Two Man Combat Tent. In used but very serviceable condition. This is the perfect size for a two man team with all their gear to be protected inside the two massive vestibules on either side of the tent or a single man with all of his gear inside with him.
Features:
Two entry/exit points with mesh netting for ample air flow, which can be closed off for cooler environments.
Two vestibules, one in the back and one massive front vestibule, the front was large enough to allow each Marine to keep their main pack on the left or right side.
Mesh top storage compartment to organize gear (or watch movies on your phone while laying in your bag, being honest)
Tons of tie down points making winds a non issue
Field tested all over the world
This isn’t a reproduction or made in China copy, this is genuine USMC issued gear designed to be heavily used by grunts in the field. I’ve personally spend many a night in horrible conditions in this tent system and it’s next to being indoors in this setup. With the numerous tie down points all around the tent it bucks wind extremely well, the rain fly is not light permeable which makes for sleeping in the day much easier if you are pulling night watch.
While it does come with the bag to carry it all together, what we did in the USMC was split it up between us in a two man team:
One Marine carried the tent and the stakes, second Marine carried the rain fly and poles.
Perfect setup for father/son, husband/wife, or whatever goes on nowadays.
This one has had professional repairs done to both mesh netting as can be seen in the pictures and is fully serviceable for continued use. There are a few tiny worn spots on the front mesh but nothing warranting another repair.
Took it out and inspected it today 3/6/2023, all pictures posted were taken same day so what you see is exactly what you get.
Comes with tent body, rain fly, tent poles, tent stakes, pole bag, stake bag, bag to carry all of it together as you can see.
