Item Name: Item Gone: FS/FT WW2 German 16mm Silent Newsreels
Location: Buckhead
Zip Code: 30305
Item is for: Sale or Trade
Sale Price: 700
Trade Value or Items Looking For: Other Militaria, mostly interested in books, posters, Japanese NCO sword
Willing to Ship: No
Bill of Sale Required?: No
Item Description: So putting this out there since I don't really collect 16mm film anymore but I have a collection of 16mm newsreels I'd be interested in selling trading for other militaria.
All of these are on modern 200ft plastic reels in archival cans, but the twelve Weltspeigel prints come with their original cardboard boxes/reels as well. Condition wise the boxes are in good shape as are the films with the average amount of wear you would expect for prints of this age. Each one is roughly five minutes in a 24 FPS projector.
I've added a description of roughly what each one is
1. U-Boot - submarine warfare shots
2. Weltspiegel 7 - Fall of Warsaw
3. Weltspiegel 9 - Denmark/Norway
4. Bomben Auf Engeland - Bombing of England
5. Weltspiegel 10 - Norway
6. Weltspiegel 11 - Holland
7. Weltspiegel 16 - France
8. Kreta - Crete
9. Weltspiegel 22 - Crete
10. Weltspiegel 26 - Operation Barbarossa
11. Weltspiegel 29 - Kriegsmarine in the English Channel
12. Weltspiegel 31 - Battle of Kursk
13. Weltspiegel 32 - Eastern Front
14. Weltspiegel 34 - Sevastapol
15. Weltspiegel 35 - Sevastapol continued, some shots of the Gustav cannon
