It's not a mod, it's a grip wrap that comes of very eaily. Made just for that special pistol grip. Three small screws and it comes off.

Yes it's a California thing so the folks up north will consider it a "featureless " rifle to avoid registration. We do what we gotta do for these. I'm gonna need a couple more of those grip wraps by middle next year.
